ASUS PCI 5.1 Channel Sound Card XONAR_DG

Great product Sounds Great... Bought 2 of these one to replace a sound card that was store bought 8 years ago and was disscontinued by the company and had no updated drivers for windows 7... Put this card in and it worked like a charm... Sounds Great and is windows 7 compatible... The other one i used to update a computer that had a soundblaster audagy that they had a crappy driver for... Put this in no probs... Sounds great... Would be a great product if your just looking for sound and are not to picky this product is great for you and great for the price..

This is exactly what I was looking for. I only wanted something to enhance one thing; iTunes music through my stero set up. I am a part time musician and added my whole cd collection to my pc, using iTunes as the vehichile to rehearse songs with. I use a high end (for it's time) Sansui AU11000a power amp as the external unit, pumping through very nice JBL Century L100 series speakers. My whole problem- sound was adequate at low volumes, but when the music was paused or muted at high volume, the junk sound being generated by the computer was brutal. I was only using the on-board sound card, then went to an external USB Turtle Beach device. No help, and my research for the specific problem was not successful. Adding this was the best upgrade for my pc since a new video card. Absolutely perfect, easy install and cured the problem- no funky noise, and my collection of first person WWII games sound fantastic! Highly recommended if you have a set up like mine.
